We encourage friends and family to visit their loved ones during their stay at Lake Behavioral Hospital. Important visitor information:
- Due to the sensitive nature of our care and to protect patient privacy, all visitors must have the patient’s passcode and check in at the reception desk.
- Visitors are required to secure all personal belongings, including phones, iPads, and laptops, as these items are not permitted during visitation.
- Visitation takes place in the cafeteria, supervised by staff.
- Please arrive a few minutes before the start time to complete the check-in process.
- Disruptive behavior or inappropriate attire may result in a visitor being asked to leave.
- Visitors may not give additional belongings directly to patients. Any items can be left with the receptionist to be checked in.
- Special visitation arrangements may be made through your loved one’s therapist if you cannot attend during the designated hours.
- Visitors must be over the age of 18, and only two visitors per patient are allowed.
- Visitation may be restricted or denied if a visitor appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Staff may end a visit if the safety of staff or patients is compromised.
- Outside food and drinks, including reusable water bottles, are not allowed.
If you have any questions or concerns before visiting, please get in touch with us at (855) 990-1900.
